Three small sailboats rest on a fine horizon line beneath a glowing sky of gold, sage and soft green. Whether they are setting out or returning home remains open. Below the line, the scene dissolves into vertical streaks of blue, gold and rust, a reflection that feels more like a memory than a mirror image.
The second work of the series “Shore Tales”, in which small figures, boats and houses appear at the edge between two worlds. Layered acrylic with gold, pastel and fine ink details on handmade paper. The deckled edges are part of the composition and work beautifully in a floating frame.
