A lone figure rises from a field of color – part guardian, part dream. Fine ink lines define a profile, armor-like layers and a slender staff with a small fluttering pennant, while blossoms grow from the figure’s shoulder like thoughts taking shape.
Layers of watercolor, acrylic and ink meet on deckle-edged handmade paper. Loose washes of yellow, turquoise and green contrast with a bold vertical stroke of red that anchors the composition. Spatters and textures dissolve the figure into its surroundings, leaving much of the paper deliberately open – space for the viewer’s own imagination.
The second work in the „Traumblüten“ series explores the threshold between strength and fragility, structure and growth.
Original, signed. Handmade paper with natural deckled edges, unframed.
