Delicate ink branches reach upward from a dense core of color, ending in small blue buds – a tree caught between winter and the first sign of spring.
Layers of acrylic in teal, sage, ochre and deep violet are pressed and scraped onto deckle-edged handmade paper, broken up by spatters that drift outward into the open white. Fine ink lines and hatching give the trunks structure, while a single dark, transparent gesture on the left adds tension and movement.
The third work in the „Traumblüten“ series focuses on the moment before blooming – growth that is already present, but not yet visible.
Original, signed. Handmade paper with natural deckled edges, unframed.
