A small horned creature curls up among tall, pointed petals – sheltered inside a bloom like in a dream it does not want to leave.
Earthy acrylic in umber and ochre is drawn over with fine ink lines and hatching on deckle-edged handmade paper. Around the figure, watercolor flows freely: deep blue rising like a night sky, a touch of violet at the side, glowing orange and rust at the base. Below, the color runs and drips into the open paper, as if the dream were slowly melting away.
The seventh work in the „Traumblüten“ series is its warmest and most intimate: a moment of rest inside the bloom.
