A finely drawn bird descends through a landscape of angular mountain forms and tall, blade-like plants. Sweeping strokes of deep blue pastel and a thin line of red guide the movement, while layers of sage acrylic, green watercolor and flakes of gold leaf build a dense, fractured surface around it.
The sixth work of the series “Shore Tales”, in which figures, boats and houses appear at the edge between two worlds. Detailed ink drawing combined with watercolor, acrylic, pastel and gold leaf on handmade paper. The deckled edges are part of the composition and work well in a floating frame.
Signed original, one of a kind. 30 × 41 cm (11.8 × 16.1 in), including deckled edges. Shipped unframed.
